This weeks challenge (and my first submission) is to photograph “something extraordinary: a place that blows your mind; a work of art or object that speaks to you; or even a location or scene that’s special, unusual, or even magical in some way”
A little after sunrise, my husband and I spent the morning on a scenic coastal drive retracing the roads driven many times with my family as a kid. On the Northern end of the ride, the ocean is obscured by tall dirt banks with rocky spikes and scrappy vegetation that look more foreboding than beautiful.
Yet, if you know where to pull over, you’ll find some of the Northeast’s most beautiful rocky shoreline. To my surprise and delight, I found one of my favorite spots — and it looked like someone (or many) had been very busy…
